As I watched him grow, I was rewarded with a pup that possessed the conformation and working ability I desired. After winning the Extended Generations Class at the 2008 ACDCA National Specialty with his dam, Rumor, and granddam, Roanie, he finished his conformation championship before I knew it, handled by my friend, Robin Cannon. In only 3 weekends out, he went BOB over a Special from the 6-9 month Puppy Class, took a 4pt major and finished with back to back 5 pt majors. He is a an effortless, fluid mover who loves to work stock, especially cattle, and has the power, balance, and rate needed for any type of stock. He is currently trialing in the herding arena and doing quite well, taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively for his first two legs on AKC Started Cattle, then Reserve High In Trial in Cattle Trial II at the 2011 ACDCA National Specialty! |
