| Robin has handled Lynyrd in the conformation ring to many of his outstanding accomplishments, including finishing his CH at the age of 21 months with multiple Best of Breed wins from the puppy classes (over top specials) along with a Group 2 at the tender age of 7months and Group 4 at 9months. I trial Lynyrd in herding and we are currently working toward his Intermediate titles on sheep and ducks. Lynyrd was ranked the #8 Herding Rottweiler in 2009 from the American Rottweiler Club with several all-breed High In Trial and Reserve High In Trial awards on sheep and ducks. Lynyrd is UNDEFEATED in the Working Titled Dog Class at the CRC Specialties since the class' inception! Lynyrd also WON the Working Titled Class at the 2011 ARC National Specialty!! |
| Lynyrd and I, along with my Cattle Dogs, were invited to the University of Kentucky's semi-annual Agriculture Field Day to put on a Herding Demonstration showcasing upright breeds. Many people turned out to see the Rottweiler "Eat the sheep!" They were sure disappointed on that one, because Lynyrd is a gentleman with the livestock and he wowed the crowds by his calm and easy guidance of the sheep through the course. After each demo, Lynyrd schmoozed with the audience and posed for pictures with children and adults alike. He is an outstanding ambassador for the Rottweiler breed. |
